Laura J. Beyer

Laurie earned her Associates in Nursing, RN at Harford Community College in 1993 and began working at Harford Memorial Hospital on the medical/surgical floor. While there she was promoted to Clinical Coordinator and earned the honor of Nurse of the Year.

Largely due to her husband’s recovery from Alcoholism, Laurie soon became interested in Psychiatric Nursing and the disease of addiction. She worked at Father Martin’s Ashley as a Staff and then Charge Nurse in 1996. After years of partnering and managing numerous businesses with her husband, Laurie rejoined the Nursing field with Father Martin’s Ashley as the Admissions Clinical Case Manager for the Pain Recovery Program. She is now the CEO and Chief Compliance Officer at The National Law Enforcement Wellness Center at Harbor of Grace, where she feels most at peace alongside her husband, Ken Beyer, helping those afflicted with the disease of addiction. Ken and Laurie have 4 incredible children, an amazing daughter-in-law, and two beautiful granddaughters.
